Byline: Associated Press

SYLMAR - A 3-year-old boy was pulled unconscious from a neighbor's pool Sunday and revived by a relative who administered CPR, a fire department spokesman said.

Found lying face up in the pool about 5:20 p.m., the toddler had been resuscitated before Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics arrived at the home in the 12000 block of Maclay Street, according to firefighter Bob Collis.

The boy was taken by helicopter to Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles where he was listed in fair condition, a hospital spokesman said.
