SAN DIEGO TROLLEY EXTENDS NEW YEAR'S EVE LATE-NIGHT SERVICE
New Year's Eve revelers will be able to take the San Diego Trolley home after the party's over. San Diego Trolley is extending its late-night service by one hour.
Trains will depart from downtown at 12:45 a.m. and 1:15 a.m. From the border, there will be two extra trains: one at 1:32 a.m. and the other at 2:02 a.m. And there will be extra trains from the El Cajon Transit Center: one at 1:47 a.m. and one at 2:17 a.m.
These extra trains are a holiday service from San Diego Trolley staff and management. San Diego Trolley President Langley C. Powell says, "Downtown San Diego and Tijuana attract many New Year's Eve celebrations. Both locations are easy to reach via the San Diego Trolley. We want everyone to have a great time on New Year's Eve and leave the driving to us!"
