For Glendale Unified School Board, there are four candidates for three seats; incumbent Pam Ellis; appointed incumbent Mary Boger, 57; incumbent Lina Harper, a certified public accountant; and Odalis Suarez, 41, an attorney. Twedt said the election has drawn a moderate number of candidates. ``I would not predict an unusually high or low turnout - I don't see anything that would bring out an inordinate number of voters so far,'' Twedt said. Twedt has been city clerk for three years and has worked on Glendale elections since 1996. Former Mayor Ginger Bremberg, 77, who served four terms as mayor between 1981 and 2001, said she hopes recent tensions at City Hall will not play a role in the City Council race.
