I think their selection is bigger, especially the furniture, and I think it's very (well) priced,'' Houck said. Sam's Club is the 25th store in California for the international chain of 540 stores. The widely spaced and brightly lighted aisles of the 156,000-square-foot building weren't crowded on this business preview day, but store general manager Pete O'Connor is expecting a huge crowd for today's 9:30 a.m. grand opening. The store employs 216. ``It's going very well,'' O'Connor said. ``We've got a big crowd, a lot of people waiting for membership, and I think people are pretty excited about what they're seeing,'' said O'Connor. Memberships at the store are $30 for business and $35 for advantage membership. For Tina Hargrave, co-owner of Mama's Pizza in Littlerock, the early hours are appealing. ``I'll probably be coming here a lot more due to the fact that they open a lot earlier,'' said Hargrave, whose business opens at 11 a.m. ``By 10 a.m. it's too inconvenient in·con·ven·ient adj.
