LLC - Logical Link Control
 (SAI), Maumee, Ohio ? Maumee is a city in Lucas County, Ohio, United States. It is a suburb of Toledo along the Maumee River. The population was 15,237 at the 2000 census. Maumee was also declared an All-America City by the National Civic League in June of 2006. , has released its newest software, Version 4.0, to commercial recyclers, brokers, consumers and metal service centers.

Version 4.0 includes the existing features of SAI's software product line adapted for the Windows environment (1) (upper case "W") Refers to computers running under a Microsoft Windows operating system.

(2) (lower case "w") Also called a "windowing environment," it refers to any software that provides multiple windows on screen such as Windows, Mac, Motif and X Window.

Roger Lambert, Simsmetal America's manager of information systems, recently deployed Version 4.0 at 15 locations. "SAI transitioned our existing data in a matter of hours. The migration was so complete and accurate that the next day our users continued their routine processing without exceptions. With Version 4.0 upgrade, we're anticipating significant and immediate benefits from our scale house to our top managers."
