SAFe-mail Announces That Its Secure Messaging System is Now Fully Compatible With PKI.

All SAFe-mail users will be able to request a class 1 digital certificate free of charge and start exchanging digitally encrypted and signed email with anyone else who is S/MIME See MIME.  compliant.

SAFe-mail's own certificate server is used to store all certificates including those of SAFe-mail users' and non-SAFe-mail users. Consequently, SAFe-mail users have all the security afforded by S/MIME but without any of the complexity of managing digital certificates and their Private Key.
