SAFE ALTERNATIVE TO CHAINS; GREAT NEWS FOR SKIERS!

SAFE ALTERNATIVE TO CHAINS; GREAT NEWS FOR SKIERS!
SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- A revolutionary product with

extensive user experience in European ski areas is being launched in North America. Skiers love 'em. So do mothers and just about anyone else who must drive in ice and snow. They're the descriptively named SPIKES-SPIDER traction device you clip on your tires.
These are light, polyurethane-and-plastic attachments anyone can put on the tires of a car or van without even having to move the vehicle, according to Shri Doraiswamy of Right National Distributors, their primary distributor. "And, for the newer vehicles, which don't accommodate chains, SPIKES-SPIDER is the only alternative," said Doraiswamy.
"Safety is the prime notion of SPIKES-SPIDER's design which was done by Swiss engineers. Be it from stop to go or vice versa, SPIKES-SPIDER is absolutely dependable for that emergency, 'on demand' traction," said Doraiswamy. Possibly their most significant advantage, Doraiswamy said, is that SPIKES-SPIDER can be clipped on in a few minutes, far less time than it takes to put on chains.
"And there is no need to raise, lower or move the vehicle," Doraiswamy said. "This easy-on, easy-off attribute makes them particularly appealing to the individual driving."
SPIKES-SPIDER has been officially approved for use in all snow-bound states, except the state of Wisconsin -- a total of 34 states. "As a matter of fact, state Highway Patrols in Colorado and California are already using it, along with some 4,500 other users in the United States," said Doraiswamy. SPIKES-SPIDER is available in a variety of sizes and configurations to fit most cars and their cost, on average, is about $250 per set. They are available nationally, only by phoning, faxing or writing to Right National Distributors, 140 Geary St., Suite 901, San Francisco, CA 94108. Phone: 510-623-0651, fax: 415-362-8158.
