S-Doc Announces the Release of Version 4.0 of Its Securit-e-Vault Product.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- S-Doc releases version 4.0 of its flagship Securit-e-Vault(TM) product. Securit-e-Vault(TM) is a NIST-validated, FIPS-140 compliant encrypted repository and complete Internet delivery system for sensitive data. Securit-e-Vault allows users to securely send, retrieve and store sensitive data over the open Internet, using only a standard Web browser. There is no client-side software required, or the need to manage a complex Public Infrastructure (PKI). The system incorporates complete non-repudiable audit capabilities and digital rights compliance, supporting totally secure collaboration between employees, clients and partners. The J2ME implementation allows the same secure transmission of information over wireless devices, including cellular phones and PDA's.

For those users who wish to use their existing email service as a means of accessing the secure S-Doc server, Version 4.0 includes an optional MAPI plug-in that allows Microsoft Outlook, Novell GroupWise, Eudora or Lotus Notes (in development) to connect to the secure S-Doc server as "just another account" in the mail service and be used to securely send email and attachments to other S-Doc users, just like regular email.

Version 4.0 also includes an update to the S-Lok(TM) product which provides a comprehensive System Hardening Solution that dramatically enhances OS security by appropriately setting system registry, security database and file system ACL's. S-Lok includes StaySecure(TM), a service technology that automatically enforces your chosen security policy settings, and notifies you if any changes are made.
