Rynne redux.

John Wilkins Maurice Hugh Frederick Born 1916.
British biophysicist. He shared a 1962 Nobel Prize for his contributions to the determination of the structure of DNA.
's account of the travails of the International Commission on English in the Liturgy (ICEL) was keen and incisive. It recalled the style of Xavier Rynne's reporting during Vatican II.

As it turns out, the same timeline recounted by Wilkins spans the period when Europe's faith was sharply declining, when priests and nuns were leaving the religious life by the thousands, and when the rot of clerical pedophilia pedophilia n. an obsession with children as sex objects. Overt acts, including taking sexual explicit photographs, molesting children, and exposing one's genitalia to children are all crimes. The problem with these crimes is that pedophilia is also treated as a mental illness, and the pedophile is often released only to repeat the crimes or escalate the activity to the level of murder. (See: molestation, rape, pornography), securely concealed behind the wall of hierarchical silence, was settling in. During this time, while the curia was so fiercely safeguarding the correct translation of "et cum spiritu tuo," what was it doing about these other problems?
