The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Rutland Jr. of Brookhaven and the granddaughter of William D. Alexander, the late Willene Alexander, Jack Rutland Sr., and the late Evelyn Rutland. The groom is the son of Rev. & Mrs. Timothy Grosshans of Orlando, Florida, and the grandson of Wanda Grosshans, the late Thomas Grosshans, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Buchholz. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory duchess satin gown with fitted bodice embellished with silver and pearl embroidery. The box-pleated skirt flowed into a chapel-length train accented with covered buttons. Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a buffet dinner reception featuring an array of South American selections.
