Ruthanne Schulte to Speak at AACE International's 50th Anniversary Meeting.

Ruthanne Schulte, Deltek Product Director, will speak on the challenges of Sarbanes-Oxley for project-based businesses.

Who:    Ruthanne Schulte will be giving the presentation, "Is poor PM
        a crime (SOX and EVMS)?" She'll be discussing the ways in
        which Sarbanes-Oxley regulations have dramatically changed the
        penalties for executives associated with not knowing their
        business' finances. Schulte will prove that the implications
        of SOX go well beyond the accuracy of financial projections to
        embrace the whole process of project management. Companies
        undertaking large projects will need a process that provides
        detailed cost/schedule metrics for all projects with
        time-phased cost reporting and continually updated completion
        estimates. Senior management will need visibility into this
        project performance data at all times along with the
        confidence the underlying process is sound. Schulte will show
        that an Earned Value Management System can be the answer to
        these reporting challenges and she will discuss why it should
        be the basis for all internal processes.
