After just one year of operation, the CDR at the New Jersey Center for Biomaterials (NJCBM) has become the premier dermatopharrnaceutics 'research center in New Jersey. It has 20 prominent members from the skin care industry, including Avon, Johnson & Johnson and Lonza, as well as individual members.
"New Jersey is the place to be for our industry," said director Bozena Michniak-Kohn, PhD, Professor of Pharmaceutics at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy is a part of Rutgers University. The facilities are housed in William Levine Hall on Busch Campus in Piscataway, New Jersey. It was founded in 1892 as the Newark College of Pharmacy and then absorbed into Rutgers University in 1927 and CDR founder. "We hope to continue to attract the best talent to our Center and to grow, as the science develops. The last decade has been explosive for skin care research."
In other news, the Rutgers University Student Employment Office selected Dr. Michniak-Kohn as the 2012 Supervisor of the Year for National Student Employment Week.
