Russia seeks to develop new system of education for Muslims.

, Oct. 26 (Petra) -- President of Moscow Islamic University Islamic University is a government financed public university of Bangladesh. It was established to promote the islamic system of education in the country. Previously it was situated in Gazipur.  Murad Murtazein, stressed that educating Russian Muslims could only be achieved through the cooperation with major scientific and educational Islamic institutions abroad. During the Second International Scientific and Practical Conference under the title "Modern Technologies in the Development of Religious Education", Murtazein said that the Islamic education in Russia Education in Russia produces 100% literacy. About three million students attend Russia's 519 institutions of higher education and 48 universities. As a result of great emphasis on science and technology in education, Russian medical, mathematical, scientific, and space  is still in its preliminary stages. "It is time to move to a higher level of cooperation within this domain with the most prominent and internationally recognized scientific and educational Islamic centers in the Arab and Islamic states", he added. The new Islamic educational system he said, requires sending young Russian Muslims to study abroad mainly in Arab and Islamic universities especially religious system. The conference opened Monday at the Presidential program of training activities with in-depth knowledge of the history and culture of Islam. It was organized by Moscow Islamic University, which this year celebrates its 15th anniversary.
