Rush Enterprises, Inc. Announces the Acquisition of Fouts Bros. UD-GMC, Inc.

SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- Rush Enterprises, Inc. (NASDAQ: RUSHA & RUSHB), which operates the largest network of heavy-duty and medium-duty truck dealerships in North America and a John Deere construction equipment dealership in Houston, Texas, today announced that it has acquired Fouts Bros. UD-GMC, Inc., a GMC, UD, Hino and Isuzu medium-duty truck dealer in Smyrna, Georgia. This acquisition marks Rush's entrance into the state of Georgia. Rush will operate this dealership as a full-service Rush Medium Duty Truck Center offering medium-duty GMC, UD, Hino and Isuzu trucks, parts, and service. The purchase price for this acquisition was approximately $9.3 million which was paid in cash.
