Rugby club to hold courses.

THE Riffa Views Bahrain Rugby Football Club has announced that it will be hosting a series of coaching courses at its premises in Saar over the coming weeks.

) approved level one and level two coaching courses.

The level one course is eight hours in duration and is due to take place on September 9 and 10 from 4pm to 8pm.

The level two course takes twice as long and will take place from September 4 to 12, with dates to be confirmed.

In addition to the rugby coaching courses, the AGRFU will also be conducting a special one-day match officials' course for aspiring rugby referees.

Although the word "request" is in the title, if the specification is ratified, it becomes a standards document.  Director of Sport Sam Wilson said the club welcomed the chance to develop the skills of coaches and referees alike.

"We are delighted to be hosting the AGRFU courses next month," he said.

"As a club, we are committed to developing the skills of the next generation of coaches and referees so that these in turn can be passed on to the next generation of players."

All of the courses are free of charge and are open to anyone wishing to participate.
