Rugby Union: UP HILL FIGHT TO PROVE IT; HEINEKEN CUP: Pool 3, Bristol v Stade Francais.

SEVEN years ago Saracens went to France and caused a Heineken Cup sensation by beating Toulouse. It was seen as proof that the former council pitch club had cracked the big time - only it was nothing more than a glorious one-off.

Sarries go to Biarritz in Pool Four today still looking to reach the knockout stages for the first time and with former England star Richard Hill admitting they have it all to prove. "We have had some big one-off performances in Europe. Unfortunately we've never taken those through to the knockout stages," he said.
