, today announced that Pasquale J. D'Amuro, Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI's New York office will become Chief Executive Officer of Giuliani Security and Safety LLC, effective April 1, 2005. Giuliani Security & Safety is a division of Giuliani Partners dedicated to security consulting.

Mr. D'Amuro, currently the Assistant Director in Charge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), division of the U.S. Dept. of Justice charged with investigating all violations of federal laws except those assigned to some other federal agency.  in New York, recently announced his retirement from the FBI, effective March 31, 2005. Much of Mr. D'Amuro's twenty-six-year career at the FBI has been devoted to counterterrorism, in which he is an internationally recognized expert.
