It is the main center of Japan's patent medicine industry and also has industries that produce chemicals and textiles. , Japan, will sell, market and develop housewares, leisure and specialty products for the Japanese market. Rubbermaid holds a 40% equity interest in the enterprise and by year-end 1994 intends to increase its holding to a majority position.
