The Model 71A10 "A" scale durometer with an "A" scale range of 0-100 is designed to measure the penetration hardness of rubber, elastomers and other rubber-like substances, such as polychloroprene, silicone, vinyl and butyl butyl /bu·tyl/ (bu´t'l) a hydrocarbon radical, C4H9.
