. Parcure 300 salt is said to be exceptionally fluid and easy to handle. Liquidity at 400[degrees]F is approximately .065 grams per square inch, so drag-out is low and waste is minimized, according to the company. It is said to have a low melting point, and a broad working range of 300[degrees] to 1,100[degrees]F. Parcure 300 has high thermal stability and high thermal conductivity. Its high heat capacity and rate of heat exchange are said to mean it can be used for short cycle curing and where space is limited. The product is relatively inert at the times and temperatures used in curing, so swelling and surface attacks, which are common with other curing methods, are not an issue, according to the company.
