Legendary producer Mike Thorne (Blur, Soft Cell, the Communards, Siouxsie and the Banshees) throws a 74-minute party with his famous friends trading leads on eight tracks, all at least seven minutes, 25 seconds. Thorne's lavish, dramatic dance party production holds center stage on this mixed batch of tunes, ranging from Latin disco throwdowns ("Grandma's Goodbye") to New Age circus ("Bach").
