Ross Mayfield Joins Luminent as Chief Information Officer.

Luminent Inc. (Nasdaq:LMNE) today announced the appointment of Ross Mayfield as the Chief Information Officer and VP of Information Systems for Luminent Inc.

Mayfield is an expert in computer information systems, manufacturing, information security and computer networks for businesses with more than 20 years experience in implementing information systems. Mayfield has broad experience as a senior executive management team member with a solid background in engineering, software, finance, marketing, manufacturing and loss prevention.

Most recently Mayfield served as a Justice Information Specialist for SEARCH, an organization funded by the U.S. Department of Justice, where he trained knowledge workers and developed government information systems including two State Supreme Courts and the Federal Reserve Bank. While at SEARCH, Mayfield also taught advanced Internet investigation to Police Detectives and Federal Agents including FBI, Secret Service, and ATF. He is a State of California Certified Computer Crime Investigator and has testified as an expert witness.
