Internationally renowned photographer Ross Halfin Ross Halfin (b. 1958) is one of the world's top English music and travel photographers. Having shot bands such as Led Zeppelin, Def Leppard, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Aerosmith, Guns N' Roses, KISS, Metallica, The Who, Rob Zombie, ZZ Top and many others, Halfin's images  will appear at the Barnes & Noble Lincoln Triangle store, located at 66th Street and Broadway, Thursday, October 5th, from 7:00-9:00p.m. in conjunction with the release of his book, The Who Live, a compilation of remarkable photos of "the greatest live rock 'n' roll rock 'n' roll: see rock music.  band in the world." Genesis Publishing has published only 1,500 copies of The Who Live. Each copy is signed by Ross Halfin and is individually numbered.

Ross Halfin's photo sessions with The Who, Keith Richards, Bob Richards, (Robert Eugene) Bob (1926–  ) track and field athlete, Protestant minister; born in Champaign, Ill. A juvenile delinquent as a teenager, he found himself through religion and sports.  Marley, Aerosmith, The Smashing Pumpkins, Ozzy Osbourne and Pete Townshend, have graced numerous album covers, tour books and magazines for the past four decades. He has established himself as one of the few privileged photographers who get to see the music business from all sides, and his career has resulted in numerous appearances on VH-1's acclaimed Behind the Music series, where he's shared his recollections of past tours and photo shoots.
