Dr. Witt stepped out of an administrative role and returned to a teaching role. She now teaches undergraduate management courses and supervises psychiatric nursing clinicals. Dr. Witt's publications have been in the area of psychiatric nursing and nursing education. Dr. Witt has held various leadership roles in the nursing community of Southern Nevada. She was cofounder co·found tr.v. co·found·ed, co·found·ing, co·founds To establish or found in concert with another or others. co·found of Zeta Kappa Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International exists to improve the health of people by increasing the scientific base of nursing research. She served on the Nevada State Board of Nursing for seven years, in the role of President of Board for 5 years. She has held several state offices in the Nevada Nurses Association. Currently, Dr. Witt is a council member of HealthInsight of Nevada and recently served as chair of the education committee of the Southern Nevada Medical Coalition. |
