Rose Associates named agent for Chelsea building.

Rose Associates, Inc., one of New York's oldest full-service real estate firms, has been named exclusive leasing and managing agent for the commercial, retail and residential components of The Capitol at Chelsea, a 37-story building located at 776 Avenue of the Americas between West 26th and West 27th streets in Manhattan.

Located at the center of the fast-growing Sixth Avenue corridor between 23rd and 34th streets, The Capitol boasts a "Building within a Building" by offering 60,000 SF of office space on three floors with its own entrance on the Avenue of the Americas.

The building, designed by Costas Kondylis & Associates, PC, was constructed in 2001. The commercial office space contains second and third floors of 22,593 SF and a fourth floor of 12,604 SF. Ceiling heights run as high as 15 feet on these floors.

Rose Associates' Commercial Leasing Division, led by senior managing director Bruce Spiegel, will oversee the leasing of the 60,000-SF office component as well as available ground-floor retail space.

The residential portion of the building, with an entrance on West 26th Street, contains 387 studio- to two-bedroom rental apartments. Rose Associates' Residential Management Division, led by senior managing director Brian Peters, will be responsible for leasing and residential management in the building.
