Rooftop park nears opening in Manhattan.


A 1 million-square foot rooftop in Manhattan, a rare entity in itself, will soon stand among an even rarer breed. This barren concrete expanse is nearing the completion of its information into one of Manhattan's larger parks, with lush landscaping and an array of indoor and outdoor recreational and cultural facilities.
