Roni Horn was born in New York in 1955, and lives and works in New York. She received a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA from Yale University.

 for it. The exhibition presents a meditation meditation, religious discipline in which the mind is focused on a single point of reference. It may be a means of invoking divine grace, as in the contemplation by Christian mystics of a spiritual theme, question, or problem; or it may be a means of attaining  on the mutability--and fixity--of signs both visual and verbal. Joining a pair of works held over from Part I are Clowd and Cloun (Blue), 2001, and Becoming a Landscape, 2001, a brand-new photo-based piece. Given Horn's extensive output of artist's books, her decision to release a CD of vocal performance rather than a conventional catalogue is a nice touch. Feb. 27--June 16.
