New Board Chairman

Linda Dunham - Taking over as Chairman of the Board for RMHC, Dunham, from Watchung, N.J., is particularly committed to helping children from underserved communities. In her 14-year tenure on the RMHC Board of Trustees, she has helped guide tremendous program growth while expanding the Charity's ability to help children around the world. She also serves as Vice Chairman of the Board for RMHC of the New York Tri-State Area and has served on the Board of Ronald McDonald House(R) of New York. In these roles, she has been a champion of providing access to education and career opportunities for graduating high school students from disadvantaged households.

She was instrumental in expanding the local RMHC Chapter's grant making ability to better serve the needs of children in the New York metropolitan area New York–Northern New Jersey–Long Island is the most populous metropolitan area in the United States and the third most populous in the world, after Tokyo and Mexico City. . Dunham and her husband, Lee, own six McDonald's restaurants in New York and New Jersey.

Joining the Board of Trustees

Wai-Ling Eng - Serving as an Officer on the Board of Directors of the local RMHC Chapter - Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bay Area (San Francisco) - Eng sits on the grant committee and chairs the scholarship committee which in 2005 awarded $150,000 in college scholarships to graduating high school seniors, and has awarded more than $500,000 to Bay Area students to date. A McDonald's Owner/Operator of four restaurants in San Francisco with her husband, Steve, Eng is active at both the regional and national leadership levels of McDonald's(R) and serves on the Board of Directors for the Asian McDonald's Operators Association (AMOA AMOA Amusement and Music Operators Association

In October 2004, she was recognized by the OCA OCA oculocutaneous albinism.  with the prestigious National Asian Pacific American Corporate Achievement Award, and was also presented with the National Community Service Award for her commitment to diversity in the community, commitment to unity among Asian Pacific Americans, and exemplary leadership.

Alberto E. de la Cruz - President and CEO of Coca-Cola Puerto Rico Bottlers and Coca-Cola St. Marteen since 1995, Cruz is also President of Coca-Cola Trinidad and Coca-Cola Jamaica. Formerly a board member for Fundacion Infantil Ronald McDonald(TM), the RMHC Chapter in Puerto Rico, Cruz was President of the San Jorge Children's Foundation. He also served as the Vice President of the Governor's Board of Commerce and member of the Council of Export in Puerto Rico. For the last six years, Cruz has been named one of the "Top 10 Business Leaders" of Puerto Rico. He was born in Miami, Florida and currently resides in Puerto Rico.

Jeffrey B. Kindler - Vice Chairman of Pfizer Inc, he also serves as the company's General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer with responsibilities that include legal affairs, corporate and regulatory compliance, corporate communications, government relations, philanthropy, policy development and analysis, corporate citizenship and global security.

Steven M. Ramirez - Ramirez is a McDonald's Owner/Operator running six restaurants from his base in San Ysidro, California. He serves on the Executive Committee of the San Diego Ronald McDonald House Charities Chapter and chairs its capital campaign steering committee. He also serves on the board of the Borderview YMCA YMCA

 and the board of the Hospital Infantil, based in Tijuana, Mexico. Steve and his wife, Carmen, have sponsored more than 100 corrective surgeries for destitute children in Tijuana who were born with congenital deformities. In recognition of his years of work on behalf of children, Ramirez has received two Ronald(R) Awards from McDonald's Corporation, the Don Quixote Award from McDonald's Hispanic franchisees and he was awarded the prestigious Gerry Newman McTLC Award at the 2003 RMHC Awards of Excellence.
