Rolls-Royce Sells Vickers Components' Trucast.To focus on its core business, Rolls-Royce, plc, London, has sold the bulk of its Vickers Turbine Components business to Royal Bank Private Equity, Ltd., (RBPE), London. Under the, agreement, RBPE will take over a number of U.K. and U.S. firms, employing 1220 people. The businesses specialize in precision-engineered products for the automotive, aerospace and industrial gas turbine markets. Rolls-Royce acquired the businesses as part of its acquisition of Vickers.
