Roland L. Ferrera

Lehrer McGovern Bovis, Inc., a New York-based construction management and consulting company, has named Roland L. Ferrera (photo), vice president in the corporate marketing department.

In this new position, Ferrera will be responsible nationally for specific marketing programs and for supporting the marketing activities of each regional office.

Ferrera has over 20 years experience in managing the construction of a board range of project types, including healthcare, corporate, residential, manufacturing, retail, educational, hotel and public facilities. Prior to joining Lehrer McGovern Bovis, Ferrera was senior vice president of a major New York construction management firm.

Among the many projects in which Ferrera participated were the Mid-State Correctional Facility in Marcy, New York; Veterans Coliseum in New Haven, Connecticut; 180 Allyn Street Office Tower in Hartford, Connecticut; the Downtown Crossing Office Towers & Retail Center in Boston, Massachusetts; Narragansett Park Shopping Center in Pawtucket, Rhode Island; the Holiday Inn at the Crossings in Warwick, Rhodel Island; and Masonic Home and Hospital in Wallingford, Connecticut.

Ferrera is actively affiliated with numerous professional associations. He serves on the Board of Governors at the Construction Institute at the University of Hartford, and on the Board of Directors of the National Commercial Buildings Exposition & Conference, Terris Associates (W.B.E), and the Exchange Club of Madison, Connecticut. He is a member of the American Correctional Association, the International Council of Shopping Centers, the International Facilities Management Association, and the Society for Marketing Professional Services.

A graduate of Arizona State University, Ferrera holds a bachelor of science degree in construction engineering.
