Rogers Corporation Selects Internap For FCX WAN Optimization Solution.

Today's announcement follows the introduction of the recently launched FCX product line from Internap, which integrates TotalTransport(TM), the core TCP acceleration technology from Orbital Data.

By leveraging TotalTransport, Internap is delivering a powerful new solution, ideal for applications requiring high-bandwidth throughput such as business continuity, digital asset management, engineering collaboration, software engineering or document management. The FCX product gives users interacting with one another, or with a database over the wide area, LAN-like performance that significantly reduces the effects of network latency and improves available bandwidth utilization.

Rogers Corporation, a manufacturer of high-performance specialty materials serving a diverse range of markets, has chosen the Internap FCX product to accelerate performance of collaborative business applications across their wide-area networks. Rogers plans to use the FCX to dramatically improve application performance over high delay networks such as the connection between corporate headquarters and operations in China.
