The company has been involved in planning and designing some of the world's largest public works projects, such as Boston's Big Dig, Britain's rail system Network Rail; announced that Roger J. Ludlam has been appointed president of the firm. Ludlam has 35 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry. Prior to joining Parsons Brinckerhoff, he served as president and chief executive officer of the Washington Group. Ludlam holds a B.S. in civil engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, at Troy, N.Y.; coeducational; founded and opened 1824 as Rensselaer School; chartered 1826. It was called Rensselaer Institute from 1837 to 1861. and an M.S. in civil engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Massachusetts Institute of Technology, at Cambridge; coeducational; chartered 1861, opened 1865 in Boston, moved 1916. It has long been recognized as an outstanding technological institute and its Sloan School of Management has notable programs in business, . |
