His father died when Pieper was 20, and on his 18th birthday he was subject to a motoring accident which destroyed his sporting career as a player  has been named to the Mocana Advisory Board. As a member of the Advisory Board, Mr. Pieper will provide additional strategic counsel for both the business and technology aspects of Mocana.

Mr. Pieper currently serves as Managing Director and Chairman of Favonius Ventures, a leading European investment fund The European Investment Fund, established in 1994, is a European Union agency for the provision of finance to SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises) headquartered in Brussels.
