Rockwell WABCO trailer anti-lock braking system selected as standard equipment on Trail King trailers.


TROY, Mich.--(AutomotiveWire)--Aug. 22, 1996--Rockwell WABCO WABCO Westinghouse Air Brake Company  Vehicle Control Systems has announced its Easy-Stop(TM) trailer anti-lock braking system An anti-lock braking system (ABS) (translated from German, Antiblockiersystem) is a system on motor vehicles which prevents the wheels from locking while braking. The purpose of this is to allow the driver to maintain steering control under heavy braking and, in some  (ABS) has been selected as standard equipment at Trail King, effective immediately.

Rockwell WABCO ABS is also available as optional equipment at all other major truck/tractor OEMs and at most coach and specialty vehicle OEMs. In total, more than 3,400 large, medium and small fleets have specified Rockwell WABCO ABS for its safety and operational benefits.
