Rockwell FirstPoint Contact Corp., a provider of call and contact
center solutions, has introduced its new FirstPoint Advantage Partner
Program for value-added resellers A value-added reseller (VAR) is a company that adds some feature(s) to an existing product(s), then resells it (usually to end-users) as an integrated product or complete "turn-key" solution. and distributors, consulting and
systems integrators An individual or organization that builds systems from a variety of diverse components. With increasing complexity of technology, more customers want complete solutions to information problems, requiring hardware, software and networking expertise in a multivendor environment. and managed services An umbrella term for third-party monitoring and maintaining of computers, networks and software. The actual equipment may be inhouse or at the third-party's facilities, but the "managed" implies an ongoing effort; for example, making sure the equipment is running at a certain quality providers. The new program will
provide tools, programs and processes for Rockwell FirstPoint
Contact's partners, enabling them to deliver the solutions and a
high level of service to their end-user contact center customers. The
program consists of three tiers, which represent call center experience
and sales success establishing referenceable accounts. The tiers include
Certified See certification. , Three Star and Five Star. As part of the program, Rockwell
FirstPoint Contact provides training and certification, based on the
roles the reseller's employees will assume as they sell, implement
and support Rockwell FirstPoint Contact's solutions.
