Rockland Community College Rockland Community College is a two-year college in the SUNY system, located in hamlet of Viola within the Village of Suffern from the Town of Ramapo in Rockland County, New York. then-president's contract. The trustees tried to fill the
president's position Last year, but their choice was rejected by
the state university system and the local county legislature. An
embarrassing battle for leadership ensued, with opponents eventually
changing the lock to the president's office so that the new hire
couldn't start his job. While giving the nod to Wood, the trustees
continue to pursue a lawsuit lawsuit: see procedure; tort. against the county executive for rejecting
the previous hire.
