Lonnen's deep rich voice moves fluidly among male, female, high and low, posh and not so posh voices. He keeps his listeners riveted by building tension but at the same time gives them time to make the many transitions needed in a complex time-shifting tale with thoughtfully defined characters and mesmerizing mes·mer·ize
