Roberts Irrigation Products is honored by USDC. (Irrigation Focus).

Each year the United States government recognizes companies for excellence in business practices. This year, Roberts Irrigation Products, Inc. achieved the distinction of receiving one of 17 Presidential "E" Award from the US Department of Commerce. This award is given to companies for excellence in exporting. The award was created by President John F. Kennedy in 1961 and today continues to recognize a select group of companies each year.

Exporting products from the United States to foreign countries is complex. Issues such as currency exchange rate fluctuations, customs or cultural practices, foreign competition, credit management and logistics all can be obstacles. In addition to the trade issues, major political and economic changes play a role in export strategies.
