Ryan currently serves as Assistant Division Manager in the Offshore Division of Texaco Exploration and Production Inc. In 1989 he was appointed Area Manager for the Eastern Gulf of Mexico in TEPI's Offshore Division in New Orleans. In 1990, through the President's Commission on Executive Exchange in The White House, Ryan was appointed Staff Assistant in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Conservation and Renewable Energy in the U.S. Department of Energy in Washington, D.C. He returned to Texaco in 1991 as a Staff Coordinator for TEPI in Houston, and in 1993 was named to his latest position in New Orleans. Ryan holds a bachelor of science Noun 1.
