From 1997 until joining Conforma, Dr. De Jager held increasingly senior leadership positions at Daiichi, most recently as vice president, R&D, oncology and internal medicine. During this period he designed and directed numerous cancer clinical trials, covering the range of Phase I to Phase III testing. Prior to Daiichi, Dr. De Jager worked in cancer clinical development at both large and small pharmaceutical companies, including RGene Therapeutics, (The Woodlands, TX); the Akzo-Nobel subsidiary PerImmune, Inc., (Rockville, MD); and Sanofi Research, (Paris, France). He has had extensive interactions with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and with European regulatory agencies, and his efforts have led to the successful development and registration of several cancer drugs.
