Robert J. Millikan, vice president, engineering and technology, pulp and paper at Georgia-Pacific, is retiring this month alter almost 40 years of service.

Robert J. Millikan, vice president, engineering and technology, pulp and paper at Georgia-Pacific, is retiring this month after almost 40 years of service. He began his career with Hudson Pulp & Paper in 1962 and was the maintenance and engineering manager at the Palatka, Florida, mill when G-P acquired Hudson in 1978. He was promoted to positions of increasing responsibility throughout the years and was named vice president, manufacturing containerboard in 1990. Millikan was named to his current position in 1994. He also served on TAPPI's Board of Directors from 1998-2000 and is a TAPPI Fellow.
