Robert Gumbiner.The Museum of Latin American Art MoLAA reopened on 9 June 2007 after a nearly three year renovation. 40,000 square feet of exhibition space was added and a sculpture garden created. Works include Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo, Jose Clemente Orozco, Fernando Botero and many other pieces from Latin American artists. in Long Beach is honoring Robert Gumbiner, the founder and former chairman of FHP fhp or f.hp. abbr. friction horsepower International, the health maintenance organization that merged with PacifiCare, this week. Gumbiner has contributed a total of $40 million to MoLAA in the past decade, including $2.2 million for the museum's recent renovation and expansion.
