After a brief retirement, Bob Power has taken on the superintendency Su`per`in`tend´en`cy

 in Jamestown, R.I. He earlier spent four years as assistant superintendent in Newport, R.I., before holding down the superintendency for three months. He earlier served Newport as director of student support services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services  and worked in Bristol, R.I., as director of pupil personnel services. His teaching career started in Newport. Power earned a doctorate in educational administration from Nova Southeastern University History
Originally named Nova University of Advanced Technology,[7] the university was chartered by the state of Florida in 1964[8][9] as a graduate institution in the physical and social sciences.
