Robert Amler.Robert Amler MD, MS, is dean of the School of Public Health at New York Medical College New York Medical College is a center for graduate medical education located in Westchester County, a suburb half an hour north of New York City. This private university comprises the School of Medicine, which grants the M.D. , serving as chief academic and administrative officer. Amler, a 25-year veteran of the U.S. Public Health Service, served as advisor to the U.S. Surgeon General and other national leaders. Amler has held federal posts at the office of the Secretary of Health and Human Services Noun 1. He also commanded health and medical emergency forces during heightened terror alerts and established a regional network of volunteer Medical Reserve Corps units.
