Robbery gone right ... at the bait shop.

The burglar alarm on the bait shop of 75-year-old Catherine Tate of Geneva County, Alabama, went off at about 11 p.m. on August 23. The one-armed woman grabbed her pistol and investigated. She found a man trying to break into her shop. He "refused to stop," reported WTVY Channel 4, and so she shot him.

The wound apparently wasn't lethal because the man fled and hasn't been located. Tate's bait business "has been broken into several times in the past."
