:GRLLQ.PK) today kicked off a radio advertising and promotional campaign in South Florida to raise awareness of the Roadhouse Grill brand and drive diners to the chain's 13 area locations.

Called "I Love Food - I Love Roadhouse Grill," the campaign features two 60-second western-style spots complete with a jingle created by Miami-based Tinsley Advertising & Marketing. The campaign is supported by a comprehensive public-relations program led by Coral Gables, Fla.-based Thorp & Company. The spots are designed to support Roadhouse Grill's positioning as a provider of "Real American Food" while emphasizing the value of the company's all-you-can-eat rib dinners, as well as its complete dinners that start at $8.79 and include a soup or salad, choice of a side dish and all-you-can-eat yeast rolls and roasted peanuts.

The spots, which are scheduled to air on 10 Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach county stations, including BIG 106, Coast, KISS-FM, LOVE 94, WIRK, WEAT WEAT Water Environment Association of Texas , and WRFM, will run through July 7. The various stations' on-air talent will conduct Roadhouse Grill trivia contests, coupon giveaways and food tastings as part of an extensive promotional campaign created to complement the advertising.

"We're kicking off this campaign in our strongest market in time for the Fourth of July Fourth of July, Independence Day, or July Fourth, U.S. holiday, commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. Celebration of it began during the American Revolution.  holiday," said Dan Abramson, head of marketing for Roadhouse Grill. "The American spirit goes hand in hand with wholesome food that's cooked on the grill. This is what summer is all about."

The spots will begin airing on June 28 in Tampa, Jacksonville and Orlando, and later this summer in Atlanta. They're being supported by public relations public relations, activities and policies used to create public interest in a person, idea, product, institution, or business establishment. By its nature, public relations is devoted to serving particular interests by presenting them to the public in the most , in-store merchandising and a Web site. Financial terms of the campaign were not disclosed.
