IT TAKES A VERY SPECIAL GROUP OF INDIVIDUALS TO MAKE a King of the Road team, and after some deep soul searching (and half the dudes refusing to go), the Alien Workshop team has bowed out. Fear not, Sovereign Sect fanatics, 'cause Habitat has heroically stepped up to take their place! With Freddy Gall for face-sucking duties, Kerry Getz for ledges, flat and manuals, and Silas Baxter-Neal to take the big drops, Habitat promises to be a heavy contender against Element, Flip, and defending champs Zero.

In other Sect news, Anthony Pappalardo has jumped ship citing "a need for a change," which usually means you think you might be able to get on Girl.

Lightning rarely strikes twice, but luckily for World Industries, Kurtis Colamonico was ready to give them a second chance and is back on the squad.

Over at The Label, Tosh Rice and Chris Troy are heading up underground am duties, along with Peter Watkins. The whole squad is picking up the pace for a September video deadline with Matt "Street Mutt" Mumford leading the charge.

Chris Hall called to let us know that trigger-happy am Darrin Harper has found a home at Element, which, all 30-year-old skate nerds will remember as Hall's former sponsor when it was Underworld Element. Small world, I tell ya.
