Road construction this week in Eugene-Springfield and around the region (weather conditions may cause delays):

MAJOR PROJECTS

EUGENE AREA

Bertelsen Road (vicinity of Roosevelt Boulevard The following roads are called Roosevelt Boulevard:
  • Roosevelt Boulevard (Jacksonville) in Jacksonville, Florida
  • Roosevelt Boulevard (Philadelphia) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
  • Roosevelt Boulevard (St. Petersburg) in St.
): Work continues at the intersection of Bertelsen and Roosevelt on utility adjustments and traffic loop installations. Intermittent lane closures. Watch for flaggers. Use alternate routes or anticipate delays.

Royal Avenue: Royal is open to traffic between Terry Street and Green Hill Road. A four-way stop Four´-way` stop

Central Eugene: Contractors will be working on wastewater system rehabilitation rehabilitation: see physical therapy.  during the coming week. Motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians should watch for occasional lane closures and equipment in the roadways and on sidewalks during daytime construction hours. Expect delays on Jefferson Street between West 15th and West 17th avenues, southbound south·bound

 Willamette Street south of 24th Avenue, East 16th to East 19th avenues between Patterson and Pearl streets, and on Jefferson and Pearl streets and Amazon Parkway between 15th and 25th avenues.

Pearl Street: A localized wastewater installation job will require the temporary closure of the east lane of Pearl Street south of 13th Avenue, Monday through Wednesday. Watch for flaggers.

Delta Highway The Delta Highway is a short limited-access freeway in Eugene, Oregon, United States, linking downtown Eugene with the Beltline Highway, northern Eugene and the Riverridge golf course to the north.  at I-105: Work continues to add a third lane on a portion of I-105 from the Delta Highway to the Sixth Avenue off-ramp at the foot of the Washington-Jefferson Street Bridge. Motorists are cautioned to observe the 45 mph speed limit on that section of I-105. Project scheduled for completion around mid-November.

Springfield-Creswell highway: Oregon Department of Transportation continues paving work south of Springfield along Jasper Road and Parkway Road. Expect 20-minute delays and minor congestion The condition of a network when there is not enough bandwidth to support the current traffic load.

Highway 99 at Clear Lake Road: New signals have been activated. Watch for continuing work on islands and shoulders.

SPRINGFIELD AREA

International Way at Maple Island Maple Island is a small island in eastern Lake Superior, located a few miles from Canada's shore between Sault Ste. Marie and Batchawana Bay.  Road: Modification of a roundabout closes the road at Maple Island for one week; the detour is Game Farm Road.

40th and Olympic streets: Heavy equipment will be in the street for bridge work on 42nd Street; there will be 10-minute delays.

South 59th street south of Mount Vernon Mount Vernon, estate, United States
Mount Vernon, NE Va., overlooking the Potomac River near Alexandria, S of Washington, D.C.; home of George Washington from 1747 until his death in 1799.
 Road: Trucks will enter from Mount Vernon Road for paving. No delays or detours.

66th Street north of Thurston Road: Equipment will be in the road for paving; there will be 10-minute delays. The road is open only to local traffic.

Centennial between First and Mill streets: Five-minute delays while a rehabilitation of sanitary sewers is done.

10th Street at T Street: Equipment will be in the roadway for the paving of a new street; five-minute delays.

South 58th Street: Work starts on an overlay between Main and Daisy streets, with removal of bad asphalt. Equipment in the roadway near Main and Daisy streets; delays of 10 minutes.
