Wendy Lewis is Vice President of Strategic Planning for Recruitment and Diversity for Major League Baseball, Office of the Commissioner. Her responsibilities include directing the recruitment process and workforce needs for MLB's Central Office. Wendy's other area of responsibility is directing MLB's Diverse Business Partners Program to ensure that a greater number of businesses have an opportunity to participate in baseball's procurement process.

Delena Sunday as executive vice president of Diversity Affairs, Delena Sunday is responsible for Nordstrom, Incorporated's diversity initiatives in the areas of minority and women-owned business development, recruitment, employment and promotion, employee training and community outreach. Delena was named executive vice president in 2000. Under her leadership, the Supplier Diversity program has grown from $358 million in 1996 to $571 million in 2001.

Stephanie D. Shipp Manager, Dell Supplier Diversity. Stephanie's team is responsible for recruiting, managing and enhancing supplier diversity within Dell World Wide Procurement. Her objective is to deliver superior supplier performance, through qualified small businesses, minority- and women-owned businesses. By identifying and developing diverse suppliers and promoting procurement opportunities, Stephanie's team directly impacts economic equality and stability.

Michelle Gadsden-Williams has been appointed the Diversity Programs Manager at Merck & Co., Inc. In this role, Ms. Gadsden-Williams provides on-going, overall leadership and strategic direction to diversity sourcing initiatives at Merck. Some of her responsibilities include: improving existing diversity sourcing and recruiting processes, developing new initiatives designed to significantly increase the under-represented minority pipeline for mid to senior level management positions, and benchmarking and analyzing quantitative and qualitative information around diversity recruiting and retention.

Roland Jones is the Supplier Diversity Manager for Nextel Communications. Mr. Jones acts as the chief strategist for the development, implementation and maintenance of the Supplier Diversity Program. In his role Mr. Jones recruits best of breed suppliers with core capabilities that match Nextel's needs.

Sharon Patterson is Director of Supplier Diversity for Kraft Foods, Inc. Additionally, she chairs the Philip Morris Companies Inc. Supplier Diversity Task Force, a team comprised of the supplier diversity managers from each of the PM companies including PM USA, Miller Brewing Co., Kraft Foods Inc., and Philip Morris Management Corp. She directs the KF program, develops and implements policy and strategy, leads teams and reports to all levels of management the activities of PM's supplier diversity program. Under her direction, the KF program has grown to record levels.

Greta Davis has been appointed AOL Time Warner's national director of supplier diversity. In her new position, Davis will be responsible for expanding business opportunities and strengthening corporate partnerships with minority-and women-owned businesses. Previously, Davis was director of supplier diversity for Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Davis received a bachelor's degree from West Georgia College. She is based in New York and Atlanta.

Dunston Brooks knows that working for KFC Corp. means more than serving its yummy chicken ... it means having a great career too. At 16, Dunston began as a cook and has worked up to an Operations Coach for the (entire) Detroit/Great Lakes area. Dunston oversees the day-to-day operations of 53 restaurants, generating over $60 million in sales.

Charles L. Moore was appointed Director, Supplier Diversity for Sprint Corporation in June 1999. As part of the Supply Chain Management organization, Charles has enterprise wide responsibility for Sprints business strategy to identify and promote opportunities for small-, minority-, women- and service disabled veteran owned businesses. Charles and his staff of 12 are dedicated to identifying, introducing and promoting qualified and certified diverse suppliers to Sprint's buying community. Through his leadership in 2001, Sprint increased it's spend with diverse suppliers by 153% over 2000 results.
