Ringdale introduces the PrintPro '97.


NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 12, 1997--Ringdale, the distribution channel for Network Technology Plc, has introduced the PrintPro '97 to its range of Printserver products.

The PrintPro '97 is a compact pocket sized Ethernet Printserver which will enable Microsoft Windows '95, Windows for Workgroups A version of Windows 3.1 introduced in 1992 that added peer-to-peer networking. See Windows.

The PrintPro '97 is also compatible with Ringdale's Internet Printing System (IPS); the first printing system especially designed for Windows '95 and NT. Ralph Ehlers Marketing Manager of Ringdale says: "it is one of a kind, allowing fast installation and printing as well as the ability to share printers on the network and the Internet. I don't use anything else to deliver my prints anymore, and it works from my home to the office".

The PrintPro '97 is also compatible with Windows printing systems, containing a complete set of network printer management software and a Peer-to-Peer printing set up is available. The software package allows direct configuration of the plug-on Printserver and queue information over a wide range of operating systems including: Windows '95, Windows NT, Apple Mac, Novell, UNIX UNIX
